A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Mahwah Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those queries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Routine Technical Information
Our hosting service records standard server-log details, such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may also support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use the limited information described above to operate the site, troubleshoot errors, measure traffic, reply to messages, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy at Linked Services
Mahwah pages link to county and state record portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Their privacy policies govern information submitted after leaving this site. That includes sponsored search results supplied by an outside provider.

Records held by Mahwah, Bergen County, or New Jersey custodians are outside our control, and requests about those records must be directed to the office that holds them.
